Fr. Chris has been the Rector of St. George's since the spring of 2004, when he and his family relocated to Moncton from Florinceville, NB. He has been Rector of the Parish of the Six Saints since the amalgamation in April 2024.
A graduate of Wycliffe College in Toronto, Fr. Chris was ordained to the priesthood in June 1990. Padre Chris (as he is known in the military) has been a chaplain with the Army Reserves since 2007, having served with the 8th Canadian Hussars (Princess Louise's), the 37th Brigade Headquarters in Moncton, 5th Canadian Division headquarters in Halifax, and currently serves the North Shore (New Brunswick) Regiment. He has participated in a number of exercises with these units, and was deployed on Operation IMPACT in Kuwait and Iraq in 2018 in addition to exercise deployments with the Royal Canadian Navy.
Fr. Chris was installed as a Canon of Christ Church Cathedral in 2018, and was a delegate from the Diocese of Fredericton to the General Synod of the Anglican Church of Canada in 2016. He is married to Carolyn and together they have three adult children.
