The Fall Teaching Series, entitled the “Ancient Church-Future Church,” will explore how the experience of early believers (roughly 100-350+) can help us today and in the future. This Series is for everyone and does not assume any prior knowledge; only an interest. Many aspects of our society are the same as those encountered by the early Church. Their biblical and creative ways of keeping the faith and living it out can inspire today’s Body of Christ to forge ahead with confidence. Please check out the Series. It is designed not only for our parishioners but for any who want to participate. We start Monday September 25th at 5:00 PM Evening Prayer; 6:00 PM Supper; 7:00 to 8:45 PM Teaching Session. Come and join any or all parts as your schedule permits! Please sign the sheet in the Entry if you are coming for Supper. Thank you!

Harvest Thanksgiving will be celebrated Sunday, October 1st. (We will celebrate National Thanksgiving on October 8th.)  Fruits and vegetables of the harvest along with non-perishable food items may be dropped off at the Church on Friday morning, September 29th, 9am to 12noon, or Saturday morning, September 30th between 9:30 am and 10:00 am. Volunteers are needed to assist with the harvest decorating on Saturday September 30th at 9:30 am. Thank you!

The Willing Workers’ 6th Annual Yard is Saturday, October 14th.  Gently used items are now being received in the Church Hall, with gratitude, between 9:30 am and 12:30 pm.  All proceeds from the sale will go towards Community Outreach projects.

The Moncton Hospital School of Nursing Alumnae has provided a limited number of tickets for members of our Church to attend the 2017 Katherine Wright Memorial Lecture. This year’s lecture, “A Conversation with Dr. Brian Goldman about Changing Trends in Healthcare”, will be held October 11th at 7pm at the Wesleyan Center in Moncton. Dr. Goldman is a well-known Canadian Emergency Department physician and host of CBC’s popular health show, “White Coast/Black Art”. If you are interested in attending the lecture, please contact Phyllis Porter (858-5590), who is responsible to distribute tickets to our church community. The deadline for requesting tickets is September 15th. There is no charge for the tickets, however, the Alumnae would like everyone who gets a ticket to attend or give the ticket to someone who will.

Would you be interested in volunteering with the Westmorland Institute, the minimum security facility in Dorchester? Specifically, one-on-one visitors are needed. Volunteers are also needed to drive inmates to Church. Obviously, this is no small request and some training is involved. Nevertheless, if you are interested, please speak to the Rector.
